Flat Creek is a lively small river that winds its way through the Ozark Mountain region near Springfield and Branson MO and flows into Table Rock Lake.  Your Guided kayak float trip will take you down the less traveled, lively 7 foot per mile gradient class one river.  This river features steady gradient current with bends, rapids, and yes obstacles, yet a fun Missouri float trip river for the whole family!  For your kayak or canoe rental, current models of canoes and kayaks are featured with Old Town Canoes, Old Town Kayaks and Ocean Kayaks.  Canoes and kayaks are hand selected for each paddler from our canoe and kayak rental fleet based on a blend of paddler’s size and maneuverability for the river conditions.

• Hwy 39 to EE – 6.2 miles – 4 to 5 hours
• EE to Flat Creek Road – 5.5 miles –  4 to 5 hours
• (Ask about guided “kayak fishing” trips!)

• ½ Day - EE to Flat Creek Road – Guided river trip time: 4 to 5 hours – This is our “kayak technique class” river trip.  Get a taste of some lively water in the latter sections of the trip, with the perfect distance to give you plenty of time to enjoy time on the river with the less demanding float trip length.  Additional time is taken to enjoy your environment and lunch on the river.  The river float starts with easier sections of the river to learn your new skills, followed by larger rapids to exercise your newfound talents.  Each level of skill training is optional, including ferrying, rapid slides, surfing rapids, and improvements in maneuvering your kayak, as well as knowledge of the river, knowledge of river level differences in risk and skill, and where to go.  A spill is possible if you push your limits, but effort does yield skill results. – 85.00 per person includes: Kayak Rental, Guide, and Shuttle Service to and from the Paddling Center.  Maximum guide ratio – 1 to 6 paddlers – Minimum group charge, 3 people.

• 1 Day - 39 to Flat Creek Road – Guided river time: 8-9 hours – With river current through the entire trip, this float is the longer version, but is a nice way to get some time on the water.  Paddle training will be basic, rather a more traditional guided trip to get some solitude and outdoor time with your closest friends and family. 95.00 per person, includes your Guide for the day, Rental, Lunch, and Shuttle Service from the Paddling Center.
